Panel discussion
15 years ago, in the early days of Pink Apple, many lesbians and gays from the Canton of Thurgau left home for the big city, and many of them still live there today. Before the days of Internet there were hardly any meeting places in Thurgau, one of the reasons why Pink Apple was then founded. Today, Thurgau advertises flashily with its natural beauty in order to attract nature loving city folks and dependable taxpayers to the canton. And what about the lesbians and gays today? Do they still leave home in droves, or are there new meeting places? Are gays and lesbians accepted in Thurgau? Pink Apple will explore these questions in a panel discussion.
With: Patrick Hadi Huber, president of the HAZ (Homosexuelle Arbeitsgruppen Zürich), member of the municipal council of Zurich and president of SP 4, raised in Balterswil-Bichelsee TG, Martin Klöti, mayor of Arbon and member of the cantonal government of St. Gallen, host: Marc Haltiner, deputy editor-in-chief of the “Thurgauer Zeitung”.
