NICE EMBROIDERY: Exhibition from April 27th to May 11th.

Ariane Lugeon (*1974) lives and works in Biel. For her series “Potenzial” (“Potential”) – from which a selection will be shown at the gallery Widmer+Theodoridis – the artist collected underwear from her friends, which she embroidered with red thread. A different kind of “thread of Aria(d)ne”, playfully sweeping over issues of power, fertility and desire.
The exhibition will take place in the project room “Ehegraben” (“marriage ditch”) at the gallery Widmer+Theodoridis in Zurich. The opening will be at 4 pm on April 27th.
